Had their dry manchurian and other chinese dishes on the menu, with undhiyu puri, the quality and taste reminded me of my town, best surti undhiyu i had in canada, moreover, the quantity is justified for the price of each Chinese item! Must visit if you are in Montreal.

Amazing Kathiyawadi Thali in Montreal! Tried the Kathiyawadi Thali at Foodine and loved it! Authentic Gujarati flavors with unlimited rotlas, tasty subji, and refreshing aam ras, just like home. The staff kept everything coming hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. If you’re craving real Indian comfort food, this place is a must-try. Sharing a quick pic, you’ll want to dig in too!

Sweet little spot, it did take a while for them to prepare but it felt fresh. Tried the Surati Thali. The only downsize is you are not allowed to share the Thali since its ‘unlimited’ (refill) but anyways its worth the spent.

We had a great experience at Foodine during our recent visit to Montreal. We ordered the Surati thali, and it truly felt like a homely meal—perfectly balanced flavors, not too oily, spicy, or sweet. Just the right blend of spices that reminded us of authentic home-cooked food. The staff was very polite and welcoming, and the service made us feel well taken care of. It’s definitely a popular spot, so I’d recommend going a bit early as it tends to get crowded. This place is a blessing for anyone who is purely vegetarian, especially those looking for authentic Indian or Gujarati flavors. It’s also an excellent choice if you’re visiting with elderly family members, as the food is light, comforting, and easy on the stomach. One small note about parking—street parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day. However, there’s parking available behind the Metro store nearby, which is a helpful alternative. Highly recommend for a warm and satisfying vegetarian meal

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I appreciate that it’s a purely vegetarian establishment without compromising on flavor. We had a wonderful experience at Foodine Restaurant! If you’re craving authentic Gujarati thali, this is the place to be. The food felt just like home—flavorful, fresh, and full of love. The baingan bharta was perfectly spiced, the undhiyu rich and comforting, and the mango ras was simply divine. We also loved the Surati pattice—crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor inside. There was a wide variety of dishes, and each one had that special homemade touch. The staff was warm and welcoming, making our family outing even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy real Gujarati food in a cozy, family-friendly setting. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited this restaurant today and had such a satisfying experience! We ordered the Masala Chai, Surati Thali, and Kathiyawadi Thali—and both thalis came with unlimited refills, which made it great value for the price (around 22 per thali). Between the two thalis, we got to enjoy 8–10 different curries, along with poori, roti, and bajra roti—all freshly made and flavorful. Everything tasted homely and authentic, but a few items truly stood out for me: • Aamras • Undhiyu • Kadhai Paneer If you’re craving real Gujarati or Kathiyawadi flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit! Forgot to ask servers name He was very nice and polite
